HMS Bounty has sunk; 5 cruise ships rerouting to ride out storm

(HATTERAS, N.C.) — The three-masted sailing ship HMS Bounty has sunk, ABC News reported. Two people are still missing from the replica tall ship, which ran into heavy seas near the Outer Banks while unsuccessfully trying to avoid Hurricane Sandy. Five cruise ships are also rerouting to stay away from the worst of the storm.
