High water causes towboat, barge casualties in Ohio River (VIDEO)

(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) — High water in the Ohio River caused at least three casualties, television station WDRB reported. Barges got loose on the river, and a towboat that went out to retrieve three of them lost power and struck a bridge. The City of Jeffersonville barge sank and is currently stuck in mud.
