(NEW ORLEANS) — Harvey Gulf International Marine has completed the conversion of a platform supply vessel (PSV) to tri-fuel operation, with Harvey Energy able to run on battery power as well as diesel and liquefied natural gas (LNG), Bunkerspot reported.
At the same time, Harvey Gulf announced it has commenced operations at its new diesel bunkering facility in Port Fourchon, La., pairing it with its LNG bunkering operations at the port. The company will also complete installation of a GE battery-power system on the PSV Harvey Champion this month.
