(BETHEL, Alaska) — A fuel barge that ran aground Wednesday in the Kongiganak River was refloated on Sunday afternoon's high tide, Alaska Native News reported. A U.S. Coast Guard spokesman said the Crowley barge was freed after 70,000 gallons of fuel was lightered. No damage was reported to the vessel, which was being towed to Bethel by the tugboat Nanchik.
