Great Lakes Shipyard wraps up dry-docking for Corps

The following is the text of a news release from Great Lakes Shipyard:

(CLEVELAND) — Great Lakes Shipyard recently completed work on three of four vessels for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Buffalo District.

As of Monday, May 11, dry-docking, maintenance and repairs for the 53-foot tug Donlon and 120-foot deck barges BD-6259 and BC-6472 were completed. 

The shipyard put the 109-foot tug Cheraw back in the water on Tuesday, May 26, using the 770-ton Mobile Travelift. Final maintenance and repairs will be completed dockside over the next three to four weeks.
