(CLEVELAND) — Great Lakes Shipyard has been awarded a contract by Geo Gradel & Co. for dry-docking and repairs of the tugboat John Francis. The tug was hauled out using the 770-MT Mobile Marine Travelift on Jan. 19.
Geo Gradel & Co. also awarded a contract to the shipyard for dry-docking and repairs for hopper barge Mobro 2000 on Dec.14. This contract includes significant metal repairs due to due to damage caused during the season. Work for both vessels is expected to be completed in March.
