Fla. judge orders SeaEscape gambling ship to auction block

(FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.) — The SeaEscape gambling ship M/V Island Adventure is headed to the auction block and will probably be scrapped, the Miami Herald reported. SeaEscape, citing competition from land-based casinos, cease operating the gambling boat in August. The ship has been arrested because the owner allegedly owes the crew unpaid back wages, and a federal judge has ordered that it be auctioned.
