(NEW ORLEANS) — Five people were rescued after a towboat capsized Tuesday morning on the Mississippi River, the Times-Picayune reported. Authorities say a large wake from a passing ship flipped the 65-foot Kristin Alexis, owned by Marquette Transportation Co. Four people on board were picked up by the towboat Jimmy T. Moran and the fifth person was rescued by another passing vessel.
