(CAMERON PARISH, La.) — The first ship loaded with liquefied natural gas produced in the lower 48 states sailed from Cheniere Energy's Sabine Pass plant on Wednesday for Brazil, the Houston Chronicle reported. The tanker Asia Vision is the first in a wave of ships expected to export the bounty of the U.S. shale gas revolution. Producers hope exports can help ease the glut that has driven U.S. gas prices to their lowest levels in more than a decade.
