(ERIE, Pa.) — The New Jersey salvage specialist Donjon is reviving the shipbuilding industry here after a four-decade downturn, The Tribune-Review reported. Donjon is operating full tilt in a 200,000-square-foot waterside facility, building and repairing ocean-worthy tugs and barges. Officials estimate the rebirth of the industry in Erie has pumped more than $30 million into the local economy.
