Divers complete $12M fuel salvage from Princess Kathleen (PHOTO)

(JUNEAU, Alaska) — Coast Guard crews and divers have successfully completed a $12 million project to remove fuel from the Princess Kathleen wreck, CanWest News Service reported. The passenger liner recently began leaking some of the 550,000 liters of oil that sank with the ship. Four divers were injured during the two-month “hot tapping” work.
