(DANIA BEACH, Fla.) — Derecktor Shipyards is investing $1 million to upgrade equipment amid its strongest summer for business in a decade, the Sun Sentinel reported. The yard is buying a new lift for boats up to 100 feet long that will replace two smaller ones. The new equipment will complement a $3.5 million lift installed in 2012 that handles megayachts 100 feet to 200 feet long.
