(FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.) — Derecktor Florida has obtained a $5.6 million loan to buy more tools and equipment for its shipyard next to the Dania Cut-Off Canal, the Sun Sentinel reported. The company, which serves mainly power and sailing yachts that need repairs or major refits, will also make some renovations. In 2012, the company installed a 900-ton mobile boat lift that Derecktor says is the largest of its kind in the world.
