(MARSEILLE, France) — One crewmember died and four others were seriously injured after a lifeboat detached from the world's largest cruise liner and fell 35 feet into the water, the Daily Mail reported. Harmony of the Seas was docked in Marseille when the lifeboat broke free during a safety drill. The city's prosecutor said an investigation has been opened to find out why "the cable or the fastenings" holding the lifeboat in place gave way. All five men were rescued and given emergency treatment but one crewmember, a 42-year-old man from the Philippines, died from his injuries.
