(GROSSETO, Italy) — Francesco Schettino, the captain of Costa Concordia, has appealed his manslaughter conviction in the fatal capsizing of the cruise ship in 2012, The Guardian reported. Schettino said he has been made the solitary scapegoat for the incident that killed 32 people.
