(DUTCH HARBOR, Alaska) — The containership India Lotus is on fire today in the North Pacific, the Associated Press reported. The ship is 700 miles south of Alaska, and nearby cargo ship Maersk Gateshead is headed to the scene to assist. A Coast Guard cutter also is en route and will arrive later.
