Conrad christens barge hull for Vane

The following is the text of a news release from Conrad Industries:

(MORGAN CITY, La.) — Conrad Shipyard christened Hull C-1149 in a ceremony held at its Deep Water South Shipyard on Jan. 4. The 55,000-barrel barge is scheduled for delivery to the customer, Vane Brothers Co. of Baltimore, Md., in early March.

The company designs, builds and overhauls tugboats, ferries, liftboats, barges, ATBs, offshore supply vessels and other steel and aluminum products for both commercial and government markets.
