Coast Guard halts cruise ship's maiden voyage due to faulty PA

(RIVIERA BEACH, Fla.) — The maiden voyage of the cruise ship Grand Celebration was postponed Sunday after the Coast Guard determined the vessel's PA system was faulty, the Sun-Sentinel reported. A cruise official said the system was not loud enough on parts of the ship and that the voyage was being delayed until Tuesday. Nearly 2,000 passengers had waited in lines for hours to board.
