(BANGOR, Maine) — A tourist schooner that appeared in the movie “Amistad” ran aground in Passamaquoddy Bay, the Bangor Daily News reported. The Coast Guard at Eastport evaculated all 41 occupants of the 84-foot Sylvina W. Beal. Visibility at the time was 100 yards.
