Coast Guard escorts Cape May-Lewes Ferry with engine trouble

The following is the text of a press release issued by the U.S. Coast Guard:
 
(LEWES, Del.) — The Coast Guard responded to a distress call from the ferry Cape Henlopen at North Breakwater Harbor near Lewes, Del., Saturday.
 
The ferry reported engine trouble to Coast Guard Station Cape May while transiting from Cape May, NJ., to Lewes, Del. The ferry continued to operate under its own power until it safely moored.
A crew from Coast Guard Station Indian River and the Coast Guard Cutter Finback, homeported in Cape May, NJ, responded as a precaution to ensure the safety of the passengers and vessel.
There were no reports of injuries.
