(WASHINGTON) — Several Chinese military and other vessels harassed a U.S. Navy ship operated by civilian mariners, Bloomberg News reported. The survey ship USNS Impeccable was threatened by the Chinese, who claimed the navy vessel wasn’t allowed to operate in that area of the South China Sea. U.S. and Chinese officials responded with contradictory claims that the other was violating international law.
