Car carrier runs aground in Brunswick River

(BRUNSWICK, Ga.) -- An automobile transport ship ran aground in the Brunswick River, blocking deep-draft traffic for 22 hours, the Florida Times-Union newspaper reported. The Centaurus Leader was refloated without any fuel spill or injuries. Ferry bumps dock, injuring 5, at Bremerton, Wash.

(BREMERTON, Wash.) -- A Washington State Ferries vessel bumped a dock while landing, injuring five passengers, the Seattle Times reported. A WSF official said the passenger-only Snohomish was maneuvering around construction equipment that is being used to construct the new Bremerton marina when the accident occurred. Recently the ferry Yakima was damaged when it ran into a breakwater associated with the marina construction.   Click here to…
