(MANILA, Philippines) — The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission is being asked to bring a new carrier information system to the nation’s container trade, the Manila Bulletin newspaper reported. At least 13 major carriers, including Maersk Line and CMA CGM, have formed World Liner Data. The new system replaces the European Liner Affairs Association.
