(MIAMI) — The Carnival cruise line has sued Rolls-Royce, claiming the British company’s propulsion pod system for the Queen Mary 2 was faulty, the Times of London reported. The $100 million lawsuit seeks to recover damages for drydock maintenance and lost revenue as a result of the “defective” Mermaid pods. Rolls-Royce denies the plaintiff’s claims.
