(MIAMI) — Carnival Corp. has received U.S. approval to begin operating cruises to Cuba, the Miami Herald reported. The cruises will be offered through the company's new Fathom brand, which specializes in what the company calls "social impact travel." Plans call for the weeklong voyages to begin in May 2016 aboard the 710-passenger vessel that now sails as P&O Cruises’ Adonia in the United Kingdom.
