(BEAUMONT, Texas) — The captain of a Texas-based tugboat that was stranded in the Netherlands since July has finally returned home to Louisiana, the Beaumont Enterprise newspaper reported. The Alois was seized in Harlingen, Netherlands, as a result of a bank-payment dispute involving the vessel’s owner. The 65-year-old captain flew home this week and received back pay.
