Calif. tugboat company manager convicted on pollution charges

(SAN FRANCISCO) — A manager at a tugboat company has been convicted of violating federal water pollution law, the Contra Costa Times newspaper reported. The official from Brusco Tug & Barge Inc. was found guilty of conspiring to pollute San Francisco Bay and of dumping dredged material without a permit. He could face five years in prison.
