(MANITOWOC, Wis.) — Burger Boat Company is pleased to announce the start of construction on Hull 510, a custom 103-foot full displacement steel and aluminum explorer motor yacht.

The owner and designer, Luiz de Basto of Miami, Fla., recently visited the shipyard in Manitowoc, Wis., to formally kick off construction with an "owner's first weld," which positions a commemorative plaque aboard the yacht. Launch is scheduled for the spring of 2017 with delivery shortly thereafter.

The vessel's modern exterior design and contemporary interior decor were developed by de Basto, an award-winning designer. De Basto, working closely with the owner, created a stylish, oceangoing, long-range explorer yacht for cruising and fishing the world's sportfishing hot spots.
