Burger sets superstructure on 180-foot megayacht

(MANITOWOC, Wis.) — Burger Boat Company has announced that the superstructure has been set in place on the first of two 180-foot motor yachts under construction at Burger’s shipyard in Manitowoc, Wisc. While the first is sold, the second is available for sale, providing its new owner the ideal opportunity to build their new yacht in the United States and add their custom touches to its design.

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3512C IMO Tier II engines, the available yacht has a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots without the need for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) required on Tier III engines. In addition, the yacht features spaces that are typically found only on much larger yachts, including a garage housing a 37-foot tender and an
anchor-handling deck that keeps related gear situated below the foredeck.
