(MANITOWOC, Wis.) — Burger Boat Company has announced the signing of its most recent project, a custom 103-foot, 6-inch (31.55m) full displacement steel and aluminum Explorer motor yacht.
The vessel's modern exterior design and contemporary interior decor were developed by the award-winning designer Luiz de Basto of Miami, Fla. De Basto, working closely with the owner, created a stylish, oceangoing, long-range explorer yacht for cruising and fishing the world's sportfishing hot spots.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C18 main engines, it has a cruising range of approximately 4,000 nautical miles at 9.5 knots. Scheduled for a spring 2017 delivery and built to ABS classification, it is a welcome addition to the wide array of custom Burger yachts cruising the world's oceans.
Burger Boat Company, founded in 1863, builds custom yachts, in aluminum and/or steel, up to 260 feet (80m).
