Body of barge worker found in Monongahela River

(BELLE VERNON, Pa.) — The body of a barge worker was recovered in the Monongahela River on Wednesday about eight hours after the man was believed to have fallen overboard, the Herald-Standard reported. Jace Edward Sayre, 59, of Chester, W. Va., was a boat engineer working for Murray American Transportation. He was reported missing by co-workers at 1 p.m. and was found by two young fishermen under the Speers Bridge at 9 p.m.
