(BATH, Maine) — Bath Iron Works is considering diversifying into the offshore wind market, Maine Public Broadcasting Network reported. Officials say the shipyard has large cranes and could be well-positioned to compete in the market for manufacturing floating components, including spar buoys. The company has been building warships for 125 years.
