Tow mate unaware of protruding cargo crane in crane barge collision: NTSB

The containership’s mooring configuration is similar to Celsius Nicosia’s configuration when the crane on Stevens 1471 contacted the STS crane. The cargo ship pictured has a 131-foot beam, 26 feet wider than Celsius Nicosia.
