Hanwha to build 10 Jones Act tankers at Philly shipyard

Among the copious news coming from Hanwha Philly Shipyard, the U.S. Maritime Administration (MarAd) christened State of Maine on Aug. 26. The next-generation national security multi-mission vessel (NSMV) is the third of five built at Hanwha Philly Shipyard. The training ship will support both the academic development of cadets and America’s humanitarian relief efforts.
