Brix Marine has launched the 48-by-17.6-foot whale watch vessel Raven for Allen Marine Tours of Alaska. The aluminum catmaran is the second vessel the Port Angeles, Wash., shipyard developed for Allen Marine, which is based in Juneau, Alaska.
Raven is powered by four 450-hp Yamaha outboard engines and has capacity for 49 passengers and three crewmembers. It is a sister vessel to Eagle delivered in fall 2023.
Raven features graphite carbon fiber interiors, low-glare marine paint and nonskid deck coatings, according to Brix Marine. It also has an advanced HVAC system, custom galley, Freedman Glitz seating and a Fireboy-Xintex fire suppression system.
