(BOURNE, Mass.) — Massachusetts Maritime Academy has received a $3 million donation from the American Bureau of Shipping, the Standard-Times newspaper of New Bedford reported. As a result, the academy’s new library will be named for the ABS. It’s the largest donation in Mass Maritime’s 117-year history.
