'A flawless pickup': Four rescued after tugboat capsizes off R.I.

(NARRAGANSETT, R.I.) — Four tugboat crewmembers were rescued Wednesday night after their vessel overturned and sank south of Narragansett Bay, The Suffolk Times reported. The 55-foot Karen Jean was towing a deck barge when the tug rolled in heavy seas. The crew of the fishing boat Merit, captained by Sid Smith, diverted to the scene after hearing the mayday and pulled the four men out of the water.
