(LONG BEACH, Calif.) — Blue Water Desalination (BWD) has added Ray Carter to its North American sales team. With nearly 35 years of sales and management experience in the marine industry and over 15 of those years involved with seawater desalination systems, Carter will handle business development for Blue Water in the Pacific Northwest.
Carter's employment experience is filled with twofold and threefold advances in annual sales figures plus the strengthening of brand recognition and global reach for the different companies and industries he has worked in. Carter's career has taken him from the West Coast of the United States to Japan and Guam, then back stateside. Blue Water is now putting Carter's sales experience to work in helping to grow boatbuilder and OEM sales for the western United States.
Carter will handle business development for the Pacific Northwest out of his base in Seattle, Wash. Carter will focus on brand awareness and dealer development in the region along with the cruiser and trawler markets beyond his home base.
