(TARPON SPRINGS, Fla.) — The six-man crew of a marine salvage boat returned home July 2 after spending 52 days in a Honduran jail, the Tampa Bay Times reported. The Aqua Quest crewmembers faced up to 12 years in prison after Honduran officials found guns on the boat in May and jailed the men on weapons charges. The crew, which was in Honduras to recover mahogany logs from a river bed, said they kept the guns for protection against pirates.
