(WASHINGTON) — The U.S. Navy will fund construction of one littoral combat ship (LCS) at the Marinette Marine Corp. shipyard in 2015, the Milwaukee Business Journal reported. Cash for a second LCS will be shifted into the 2016 budget year. The award announced this week will continue to support the work in Marinette, Wis., through Navy contractor Lockheed Martin Corp.
