Global Diving & Salvage adds Global Technical Services

(SEATTLE) — Global Diving & Salvage is pleased to announce the addition of Global Technical Services (GTS) to our existing three core services, Marine Construction, Marine Casualty Response and Offshore Support. Joining forces with Alaska Technical, GTS is offering a wide range of non-destructive testing (NDT) instruction services to industry, including energy companies, aviation, rail and infrastructure. Courses offered include visual, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, ultrasonic, radiography, radiographic film interpretation and eddy current.
 
Marty Anderson founded Alaska Technical Services in 2005. He began his career as a inspector in 1990 and has since acquired certifications in a variety of training and inspection procedures, including IRRSP certification (radiation safety), six ASNT NDT Level III certifications (RT, UT, VT, MT, PT, and ML) as well as a Level III in coating inspection with National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) and Senior Corrosion Technologist rating. Anderson is also certified as a welding educator, senior welding inspector and radiographic film interpreter with the American Welding Society (AWS) and with the American Petroleum Institute (API).

A full range of instruction services will be offered across the continent. Training can be held in a client’s offices or one of our three locations in Alaska, California and Washington. In addition to the instruction services, GTS will offer quality assurance services, providing a third-party review of your company's written procedures, auditing and assessments in compliance with written practices as well as consultation, ensuring your project is built correctly and to the applicable standards.
